When is The Ruby Collection due to open?

Stage one of The Ruby Collection is now open. Stages 2 & 3 are on track for mid 2020 and the 4th and final stage by the end of 2022.

When will I be able to book a stay at The Ruby Collection?

Bookings can be made online here. Our valued newsletter subscribers will receive exclusive access to our pre-release sale 2 weeks prior to the general public. Subscribe to our newsletter and get the latest news and special offers direct to your inbox. 

How do I pay for my accommodation?

Our fully flexible packages only require a one-night deposit to book and other packages loaded with savings and value offers may require full payment at time of booking.  If you have have a balance that requires payment before arrival you can pay it off. 

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations and amendments may not be accepted on some packages and will be outlined further on the terms and conditions page.

When will I receive a copy of my booking confirmation?

A copy of your booking confirmation will be emailed to you within 24 hours.  If you have not received a copy please check your junk mail first, otherwise email our team at reservations@therubycollection.com.au or give us a call on +617 5579 4488 and our Ruby Ambassadors will be able to assist in checking your email address and forwarding another copy. 

What if I need to change my booking? 

Amendments may be possible depending on the terms and conditions of the package in which you have booked.  Please check our Terms and Conditions page or contact our customer service team on reservations@therubycollection.com.au.

How do I get to The Ruby Collection?

Our street address is 9 Norfolk Avenue, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217. 

How do I get to The Ruby Collection from the airport?

Transfer options from either Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) or Brisbane Airports include taxis, coaches and even fire trucks. Drive time by car from Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) is approximately 40-50minutes, and from Brisbane is 70-90minutes, however coach transfer times vary depending on the number of passenger drop offs. Bookings for airport transfers must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival/departure and can be booked online here

Will I incur credit card surcharges?

Please note that fees will apply for payments made by credit card as follows: 1% for Visa and Mastercard and 1.8% surcharge for Amex and JCB.  No fees will apply for check or savings accounts.

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in is 2pm and check-out is before 10am. Our reception is open 24 hours.

Do you allow pets?

While we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed on the property. This is for the safety and comfort for all of our guests

Can I smoke on property?

Please leave your cigarettes at home! The Ruby Collection is committed to providing a smoke-free experience for our guests and we charge a $500 deodorising charge if you smoke in your room.

How can I keep up with my fitness routine?

The Ruby Collection offers a cardio gym on the 3rd floor equipped with a treadmill, bike, rowing machine, fit balls and yoga mats. It is open 24 hours for your added convenience and free of charge for use by Ruby guests only. Children and visitors are not permitted in the gym.

What form of payment do you accept?

Fees will apply for payments made by credit card as follows: 1% surcharge for Visa and Mastercard and 3% surcharge for Amex, Diners and JCB. The total cost of accommodation (or total package price) is due in full at time of check-in. You are also required to leave a copy of your credit or debit card to cover any incidentals you may incur during your stay. This is standard international hotel practice. On check out, your elected credit card will be automatically charged unless you provide an alternative card prior.
